Wooly Wax Candles

I first heard about Wooly Wax candles by going to one of my favorite stores here in Denver called Sub Rosa. I can't  go into a store without smelling almost every single candle in site and so I picked up a Wooly Wax Candle. Seriously, these candles smell so incredible. I knew immediately that I had to meet whoever was making these amazing candles. Rachel (the owner) has 20 years of experience in the culinary world, and knows what's up when it comes to different flavor profiles and what scents pair good with each other.

In one of my favorite movies ( The Hundred Foot Journey) there's a quote that says " Food is memories." I couldn't agree more with this statement and I feel the exact same way when it comes to candles. For as long as I can remember I have always adored them. Like probably more than your average person. Candles remind me of different seasons in my life, wether it be my childhood bedroom or the smell of my college apartment. All of this to say, candles bring me a sense of joy in my every day life.

What I love about Wooly Wax is that they are made from 100% natural soy wax, have a burn time of approximately 55 - 65 hours, and they use essential oils and the finest fragrance oils that are phthalate- free. There aren't any parabens, sulfates, dyes or chemicals in them. Just the great stuff. :)

Wooly Wax is unique in that they will work with you on creating your own signature scent. How cool is that? Wether you own a business and want to create a scent for your brand or just want a signature scent for yourself to enjoy in your home, they can make it happen!

I chose the Coriander/Driftwood candle because it reminded me of walking around in the Kasbah's of Morocco and smelling all of the fresh spices along the way. It just happens that this scent is the owners favorite as well. I suggest you go check her candles out. Christmas is just around the corner and these babies will make for a great gift!
