Ten Thousand Waves- Luxury Mountain Spa Resort

This wonderful place is just a ten minute drive outside of Santa Fe and boy was it worth it. They have these fun little pools that you can rent out for a few hours and if you want to get a spa treatment as well you can do that. On the property is a restaurant which you would think wouldn't be all that great but it was actually really great! We sat at one of those little tables where you sit on the floor and the food was so fresh and good. Definitely eat lunch or dinner here if you happen to go to the spa.

La Posada de Santa Fe

We came across this fun resort on a walk around town and had to go check it out. My mother-in- law had been here a few years back and couldn't remember the name so we roamed around for a while and finally found it! As you can see there is this great little patio so we just sat and relaxed and had a great lunch. We also had Mother's Day brunch here and it was one of the best brunches ever!

Modern General

Oh Modern General! I lit up whenever we found this place. Seriously such a genius idea. They have great juices, smoothies, and sandwiches and they also offer classes to learn how to garden. How cute is that? Any seeds or tools you need, they've got em! They also have a fun little corner with homemade soaps and lotions. Well done Modern General. You know what your doing.

Casa De Alma

This house was so great. We rented it off of a website that I found through Pinterest. It was super cozy and had a little courtyard for Aspen to hang out in. It was really close to Canyon Road where you'll find a lot of art galleries and eateries. We would definitely go back and stay at this humble abode.

Cafe Pasqual's

This is an iconic New Mexican food breakfast place. They have great juices and wonderful food. They are open for lunch and dinner too but we just went there for breakfast. It's pretty tiny so you may have to wait for a bit but if the weather is nice it's fun just to stand outside and people watch or hang out.

Hotel Saint Francis

We stayed at Hotel Saint Francis for the first two nights that we were in Santa Fe and it was the perfect location. We could walk anywhere we wanted and were right next to one of our favorite breakfast places Pasqual's. There is also a restaurant in the hotel that has great sage margaritas and cheese and everything you could ever want. They also allow dogs to stay there which was really great!

Los Poblanos Historic Inn & Organic Farm

There's nothing like saving the best for last. I can't put into words how wonderful this place was. I found it on Pinterest and made dinner reservations for the four of us on our last night in New Mexico. From the entrance with the trees lining the road, to the farm shop, to the wonderful food, to all the lovely flowers, to the greenhouse, to the cocktails, this place was my all time favorite. It took us about an hour and a half to get here from Santa Fe but we took the scenic route that went through Madrid (super cute little town). The drive was so worth it though. You can even stay in one of their rooms here. Make sure you get there in time to go to the farm shop. I think they close around 5:00p.m. I just cant say enough about this place. I could've walked around for hours just taking pictures of everything. I hope to own something like this one day! How dreamy would that be am I right?
