Le Salon Bleu

This quaint little place was set in the Kasbah of Tangier. Hunter and I probably went there every day just to enjoy their mint tea and incredible views from atop their terrace. As soon as I stepped into this little white and blue gem I felt so welcomed and at ease.

La Tangerina Hotel

Oh my goodness! I want to live in this adorable little place. We decided to spend our last day here relaxing and going to the Hamam (A Hammam is a steam room, similar to a Turkish bath, where Moroccans habitually go each week to cleanse themselves.) It was a little more of a tourist Hammam but it was amazing. We got the whole thing to ourselves to relax and enjoy this Moroccan ritual. The lady came in, washed us and scrubbed our bodies to be super clean and smooth. As long as you are okay with something scrubbing all your dead skin off of you then you should definitely do this! It was so worth it. The hotel also offered massages but we just did the bath which lasted about an hour and a half. Afterward we went up on the deck and enjoyed breakfast and the view. I cannot recommend this place enough. It is a two minute walk from Salon Bleu in the Kasbah so it's fun to check out both of these places in the same day.

A' Langlaise Cafe

This small little place is in the Kasbah and serves up some really delicious food. It is owned by the sweetest woman who has her two daughters helping her. They were all so sweet and welcoming. We went to this place a few different times while we were in Tangier. They even have a beautiful apartment above the cafe that you can rent to stay in. I would definitely give this place a try!

Assilah

Assilah is just a 30 minute drive from Tangier. We took a taxi and it only cost us two bucks. Trust me when I say it was so worth it! Assilah is such a quaint and beautiful little beach town. We just went for the day and spent the day drinking mint tea, walking around, and enjoying the beautiful views. There is great shopping and everyone we came across was so friendly! It was a nice little getaway from busy Tangier. Try to catch the sunset as well! It was so incredible!
